About us

Tourism is a dynamic activity as well as a vibrant industry worldwide, so it has great potential for employment opportunities in the domestic and international markets. To meet the human resource needs in the Hospitality and Tourism industry, TDCP founded the Academy of Tourism in 1988 which was upgraded to the “Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management” (ITHM) in 1996. Now, these Institutes of Tourism & Hotel Management (ITHM) are imparting hospitality and tourism trainings in various cities of Punjab at Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, Gujranwala, and Faisalabad where Certificate and Diploma courses are offered in Hotel and Tourism along with Chef and foreign language courses. Tourist Guides and Passenger & Air Ticketing courses are also conducted to cater to the needs of the potential market.
